Clean Up Explorer’s Context Menu - wellshasurseen
When MLStrand56 appropriate-clicks a lodge in Windows Explorer, the resulting menu is too big for solace, "attributable various programs adding their own items to the menu." The Windows forum offers a answer.
The right-click context of use computer menu is one of Windows' best innovations (although Borland fancied that feature years before Microsoft). Merely it can get out of hand. When I powerful-click a file, I get 25 options. Sixer of those are submenus full with Thomas More options.
You can abbreviate that overhead by thrifty editing of the Registry, but in that respect's an easier way: Use of goods and services CCleaner, a free utility that's handy to keep around for a variety of reasons.
You crapper pick out from two functionally selfsame versions of CCleaner: The regular version requires initiation. CCleaner Portable–the reading you put happening a twinkle drive so you tail assistance fix friends' computers–does non.
The context-menu cleaning feature was added to CCleaner fairly recently, so if you already accept the computer program, you may need to update it before doing the following:
- Clack Tools on CCleaner's left pane.
- Click Startup on the pane next to that.
- Click the Context Computer menu tab.
- Select your unwanted options.
- Click the Disable button.
My thanks to Flashorn for suggesting CCleaner in the avant-garde forum discussion. Although I've used this program for years, I didn't know active this feature until I read his post.
